If you’ve ever met Ali Pike, they have wanted to cut your hair.
Ali (They/She) discovered their passion for styling when they realized they could create art on an evolving canvas. They carve bespoke haircuts that reflect the individual and empower them to intuitively care for it.
A nationally-renowned stylist, Ali is known for their artistic-edge and empowering approach to client relationships. Ali believes in chemical-free service, haircare unbound from gender or social norms with a focus in identity exploration and community care.
Ali is based in the country’s most creative city, St. John’s, Newfoundland. If you are ready for change and your approach to haircare is “less is more” come have a seat in their chair.

Ali follows the hand-crafted hair movement— meaning each cut and style is unique based on clients’ natural hair needs and dreams for their look— not conventional rules about what hair should be.
On the day of service you can expect Ali to work with you to figure out what these needs and dreams are, so you know you’re in good hands, every step of the way.
Tuneups (30 mins)When you need a haircut refresh. No cleanse. Available for existing clients only.
New Look (60 mins)When it’s time to change your haircut style. No cleanse, but Unstyled refreshing.
New Feel 75mins
When it’s time to change your haircut style and you want to relax with a warm water cleanse. Full Unstyling wet to dry.
Transformational Haircut (80-120 mins)When you want to take a deeper look at your style, routines, and needs. Beyond your everyday cut and style! Includes haircut, warm water cleanse, fully guided Unstyling.
Fringe Only
Just bangs or a face frame.
Cut & UnStyling services are based on hourly pricing at $100/hour. If this seems inaccessible to you, please check for regular “pay what you can popups”. -

That’s why Ali provides mobile services, and virtual support in addition to in-studio services.

Interested in Ali’s techniques and approach to their work?Virtual and in-person workshops are available for stylists and others in the industry. More than a simple ‘how-to’, Ali will work with you (or your team) to foster community-building and challenge industry constructs.
